Shaun Stols

Shaun attended the University of Pretoria, South Africa to complete a degree in Sports medicine with a focus on Recreation and Sports Management. He worked as a coordinator for the British and Irish Lions Rugby Tour, the ICC Champions Trophy cricket tournament which led to his role as Team Leader and Brand Ambassador at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. A few years later, he emigrated to the United States. When sports-related employment was difficult to find, he decided to pursue his other passion, production. Shortly after receiving a diploma and certificate of completion of an audio training course, he was thrust into a world where he has thrived. Working his way up from jobs beginning as an inexperienced stagehand, he slowly started acquiring skills in all facets of production: Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging, etc. He has since been promoted to Director of Production at ESP where he oversees a team of twenty engineers and shares his expertise and knowledge about gear, technologies, and the best practices involved in executing a successful event.
